He also offers “Deep Pacific” oiled massage, a combination of the long strokes of Swedish, the acupoint release of Shiatsu, deep tissue if requested and the stillness of Reiki.
“It would be a joy to do a session with you at Corazon.” - Jim
Lisa Brewer, CMT
Lisa has been doing therapeutic bodywork for over 40 years. Health is her passion. Her gentle and profound hands on work uses the many disciplines she has studied over the years.
She begins with an energetic assessment of the body, using cranio-sacral techniques, and then listens to her client to determine the best avenue of approach.
Each session is tailored to the clients needs and preferences.
Her resources include: Swedish massage and effleurage, Lymphatic drainage, Cranio-sacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, a knowledge of the meridian flows and Acupressure, and Polarity therapy.
In soft tissue work she tries to meet the clients level of tension, so a release can be found without provoking a defensive response.
Relaxing into the parasympathetic system is essential for all self healing, and even if the session is more muscle oriented, she tries to end with Cranio-sacral work to allow the client to drop into that place of peace and safety where all the work meets to heal.
