Who is Henrique?
Henrique is a very powerful spiritual / energy healer who works with a large community in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. His main goal, from what I observe, is to spread peace and love in the world using the practice of Umbanda.
Umbanda is a culmination of all world religions with an emphasis on the indigenous spiritual practices of the African slaves, Brazilian indigenous people, and Christianity. Kabalistic practices are also coming into play these days.
Sometimes, when working with his community in Brazil, or even here, it feels like I have been dropped into a National Geographic special! It is so different then anything I have ever done before, but really requires nothing of me other than to pay attention to my own spiritual development and do good work in the world.
A special note about plant medicine: While Henrique uses many elements from the natural world in his work, he does not need to rely on hallucinogenic plant medicine. In fact, coupled with the natural power of Henrique, these kinds of plant medicine can be dangerous and are therefore prohibited during retreats.
SAYULITA
Sayulita is a small town in Mexico along the Pacific Ocean at the south end of the state of Nayarit and north of Banderas Bay. It has long been a favorite surf spot in Mexico, dating all the way back to the 1960s when this sleepy little fishing village was “discovered” by surfers from the U.S. and Canada who wandered south of the border in search of good waves and mellow vibes. Over the past two decades, Sayulita has become a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to Puerto Vallarta (40 minutes north), fun local culture, small town vibe, large artisan community, great food and amazing shopping.
Corazon sits on the quieter north side of Sayulita about 1 block from the beach. It is a 5 minute walk to the north side business center where there are many restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the plaza at the center of town.
WHITE FEATHER HEALING CENTER
White Feather Healing Center (WFHC) is nestled on the family property of Billie and Tim Taylor, Corazon. This exquisite compound was originally built with the intention of providing a place to gather family and friends for fun, healing, and restoration. Over time the property revealed itself to have a deeper purpose. It was a sacred site to the indigenous people of this area and maintains a special energy. We have come to believe that when you spend time here you not only absorb the energy contained within but leave a bit of your own energetic footprint behind. We see ourselves as stewards of this place and its precious energy.
Where is WFHC located?
Puerto Vallarta is the closest big city with an international airport to Sayulita. Sayulita is about a 45 minute drive north from Puerto Vallarta. You will fly into Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR). Most major US airlines fly there.
There are many ways to get to Sayulita from the airport - car service, taxi, bus or car rental. For an additional fee, we will coordinate a car service from the airport in Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita and back at the end of your stay.
Where do I fly into and how do I get to Sayulita?
Corazon sits in the state of Nayarit, just over the border of the state of Jalisco. Our area has not had the violence that many of the central states or borders cities experience. Our small, sleepy fishing village has become a booming tourist destination. With that comes an increased level of safety, though in our 15 years here we have never found it to be dangerous.
As with any international travel, we do suggest certain safety precautions, which are laid out clearly in our Retreat Guest Info Page that you will get access to once you’ve signed up for a retreat.
Is mexico safe?
As an American citizen, you will not need any special visas or vaccinations to come to Mexico for less than 180 days. You will only need a valid passport that is more than 3 months from expiration.

Do I need a visa or specific vaccinations to come to Mexico?
Yes! We often find that those who break out of their comfort zone and come alone find the deepest healing and the most connection to the group. We keep each retreat group small enough that everyone can truly and deeply get to know one another.
Can I come to a retreat alone?
Absolutely! If you need extra care or support during the retreat, we welcome you to bring your spouse or caregiver to share your room. If they would like to participate, please let us know so we can save space for them.
If they will not be participating, they will need to keep their distance from any group work, cleansings, healings or morning prayer that is happening on the property.
They will have the option to eat with the group for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
7 day retreat cost for an additional non-participating person:
Including food - $850
Not including food - $350
If you have a caregiver who needs their own room during the retreat and will not be participating, please email us directly to discuss.
Can I bring my spouse or caregiver?

What is NOT included in the cost of a retreat?
INCLUDED FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
3 meals each day with options for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, pescatarian and vegan diets
Breakfast & Lunch are generally buffet and dinner is seated/plated

A NOTE ABOUT OUR FOOD
Meals are prepared locally by our wonderful caterers. Food is organic, as much as possible, and locally sourced. As we are a beach town, we have incredible seafood and often try to highlight that. Though it is not common in Mexican food, we are constantly trying to add more fully vegetarian and vegan meals for everyone during the week.

In the event that a retreat is cancelled, you will be provided with a FULL refund of everything paid to date.
What happens if a retreat is cancelled?
We know that life gets in the way sometimes and plans change. That’s why we are happy to offer a full refund (minus the $500 non-refundable portion of your deposit) up to 2 weeks in advance of the start of the retreat.
We hope you can understand that by the 2 week mark, it is extremely difficult to fill your spot and we have already paid deposits to the Brazilians, our caterers, teachers and prepared for the retreat assuming your attendance. After this point we are unable to provide refunds except under extenuating circumstances (see section below).
We encourage you to reach out to us if you would like to attend but are not sure you’ll be able to.
Extenuating circumstances -
Given that White Feather Healing Center is a place for healing, we know that many people who would like to attend our retreats may have unpredictable health issues. So, we will provide a refund, including the $500 non-refundable portion of your deposit, for serious health concerns that prevent you from being able to attend. Please be prepared to provide us with a doctors note to be able to refund your deposit.
What if I need to cancel for a retreat I’ve signed up for?
We hope you will! Sayulita is a beautiful town full of fun activities, fabulous food, amazing artisans, and beautiful jungles and beaches. You will be charged the regular room rate per night for your accommodation.

Please note that meals will not be provided before or after the retreat. If you would like to coordinate your own catering, please let us know and we can help you make those arrangements.
Our massage therapists are only booked daily for the retreat time, however, we can also book them to come additional days before or after the retreat if you would like an on-site massage. Please let us know 3 weeks in advance of your arrival so we can ensure they have availability.
